Fire Island Pines consists mainly of summer beach houses that are rented out for the season. It has no major (or minor, really) hotels.
Accordingly, we have arranged for a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn on Long Island (click here for hotel Web site). The hotel is about 2 miles from the Long Island MacArthur Airport (Islip) and 6 miles from the Sayville Ferry Service terminal. The Hilton has the best ratings on TripAdvisor among the local hotels.
We have secured a group rate of $131 per night at the Hilton for the nights of June 22, 23 and 24. To make a reservation under the group rate, contact Hilton reservations or the hotel directly at (631) 738-7800, and tell them you are booking for the “Smith – Sasala Wedding.” Reservations under the group rate must be made by May 30, 2012.
