4:15 p.m. – Ferry departs from Sayville ferry terminal for Fire Island Pines  (This ferry will get you to Fire Island by 4:45 p.m., leaving you just enough time to get to Whyte Hall.)

5:30 to 7 p.m. – Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Whyte Hall

7 to 8:30 p.m. – Seated dinner; cake presentation at Whyte Hall

  • What should I wear to the wedding?

We are encouraging our guests to wear shades of blue and white.  Dress for a nice cocktail party.  Business attire is not expected.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be on the beach itself.  The reception, dinner and dancing will be at Whyte Hall.  If the weather is poor, everything will take place at Whyte Hall.

Yes, we have registered at Michael C. Fina and at Macy’s.

  • Are children invited?

We are planning a formal sit-down dinner following the wedding and cocktails.  However, because our reception venue does not ordinarily function as a restaurant or resort venue, it does not have high chairs or a children’s menu.  We thus are encouraging our guests to attend without children under the age of 15.

  • Are you changing your names?

No, everything is staying the same.
